Description The CLS Vendor Manager is responsible for managing the Vendor relationships that are held in Commercial Loan Services. This includes managing the AFSVision, ACBS, and the TCS vendors. The CLS Vendor Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end vendor management process, ensuring that all vendor relationships are optimized to support the Commercial Loan Services team. The CLS Vendor Manager will also assist with supervising and leading the Offshore Team to achieve the highest level of customer service, production, and quality in accordance with Huntington brand promise. This position is responsible for driving consistency with our onshore and offshore teams, to develop their skills and knowledge to perform at an optimal level and closely analyze customer and colleague experience, aimed at identifying possible process improvements. Duties and Responsibilities: Accountable for department's adherence to regulatory compliance and bank policies and procedures Completion of Vendor Management review and ongoing due diligence of the vendor's performance Facilitate regular communication and meetings with vendors to review performance and discuss improvement opportunities Ensures offshore team meets quality and service expectations while acting in accordance with all applicable laws and rules Understands, and utilizes data metrics to achieve optimal team performance Knowledge of analyzing, researching, and resolving tasks while performing at a high level of production and accuracy Manages and participates in department activities, including driving consistency across onshore and offshore colleagues, providing work direction, monitoring offshore performance and motivating staff. Performs supervisory functions such as interviewing and hiring staff, coaching employees, conducting performance evaluations, resolving personnel issues, and following through with necessary disciplinary actions Responsible for keeping abreast of new industry trends and methods Perform other duties as assigned This is a hybrid role you must be located near 5555 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, Ohio or 333 Main St Midland, MI, or 11100 Wayzata Minnetonka, MN Basic Qualifications: * High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent * 4 years of related work experience in financial role, including previous leadership and/or vendor management experience Preferred Qualifications: * Licenses/Certifications: Project Management, Lean or Six Sigma * Possess a strong acumen for the following skills * Ability to coach and motivate colleagues in a goal-driven environment * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Strong computer proficiency, working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs * Analytical skills, with attention to detail * Ability to collaborate with peers and other leaders * Strong interpersonal skills, able to develop, coach and engage team to achieve success * Maintain knowledge and understanding of the regulatory requirements that are within the Commercial Loan Services team's responsibility #LI-Hybrid Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay) Yes Workplace Type: Hybrid Huntington is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, gender identity and expression, genetic information, or any other basis protected by local, state, or federal law.
