Login Now Supported Employment Coordinator Job Code:2024-FORR-IDD-SUPEMPCOOR-09.23 County:Forrest City:Hattiesburg FT/PT Status:Regular Full Time Education:Master's Degree Summary: Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an opening for a Supported Employment Coordinator to work with clients who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Position is based in Hattiesburg, MS but will service clients in the Pine Belt area. For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt. Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Our eighteen county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties. Requirements: Education/License: Master's degree in behavioral health field required Professional clinical license preferred Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required Reliable transportation to provide services in the community Work Experience/Skills: Behavioral health experience preferred; especially with IDD population Experience working with job discovery programs preferred Ability to manage multiple projects and to complete assigned tasks on schedule Ability to think independently to determine direction of work flow and work load Responsibilities: Manages IDD supported employment team. Performs appropriate assessment and intake, participates in team staffings, and functions as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. Provides community education services, including marketing the job discovery program for IDD clients in PBMHR service area. Promotes the supported employment program to potential employers for IDD population servced throughout our region.
