Sr. Copywriter Our Sr. Copywriter must demonstrate exceptional conceptual thinking and the ability to develop big, breakthrough ideas across all mediums including storytelling, static, native social, content creation, digital experiences and activations. You'll partner with strategic and creative teams and some of the best social and content experts in the industry. Your Mission: to conceptualize and support the development of creative platforms that could travel across the funnel creating ideas that are social at heart and best-in-class creative expressions. You will tailor your creative and content to audiences, platforms and culturally relevant moments. You will confidently sell your ideas to internal teams, senior leaders, clients and partners. This is a position for a for a seasoned, driven, results oriented, and highly creative individual with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, manage deadlines, and produce highly effective creative. You are: * Ambitious - ready to take on a huge challenge * A "Yes, I can make that happen" person * In love with your work and passionate about your craft * A new wave creative: dreamer, doer, maker * Crazy enough to think you can change the industry * Self-sufficient * Innovative - you constantly innovate the shape of a platform, the elements of a campaign, the way a campaign is produced and how activations go live Responsibilities: * Translate creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging and effective concepts and core creative ideas for an array of brands, products and briefs * Day-to-day leader of team(s) and actively guides team to produce work that aligns to creative brief and solves client challenges in an original and innovative way * Contributes creative concepts and partner with Strategy teams to approve creative briefs as needed * Work closely with art director partner and guide team(s) to stay focused on the big idea * Contributes award-worthy concepts and recommendations to execute ideas * Lead production efforts and demonstrate ability to work within budget or can articulate justification to increase budget for projects * Foster strong relationships with clients and spot opportunities to enhance or build on a project (upsell) * Be able to present confidently to client and clearly communicate how creative work/design meets the strategic and business objective * Manage multiple projects, sometimes for various brands with different scopes and ensure all project of self and team deadlines are met * Develop compelling copy, scripts, brand narratives, pithy social copy and more * Ensure creative executions meet the highest standard of craftsmanship * Ensure creative copy meets tone and voice expectations and brand guidelines * Stay abreast of global cultural trends and industry updates, and proactively develop timely ideas for real-time content Qualification: * 5-7 years of equivalent experience with 3-5 years of supervisory experience Background in social first or tech first agencies * Adaptable and able to handle changes in briefs, priorities and edits * True passion for food & beverage vertical * Portfolio of social forward creative that makes our jaw drop * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Excellent management skills and strong leadership potential * Expert in MAC software and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop * and Illustrator * Able to shoot and film scrappy content * Ability to lead scrappy content creation * Passion for learning and self-improvement * Proactive and a self-starter * Positive attitude and ability to work under tight deadlines How We'll Support You Ogilvy celebrates its people.
