What you will experience in this position: * Oversee daily operations of a 50K+ sq ft Warehouse in Sparks, NV. Provide leadership and work direction to the team ensuring that resources are adequate to meet key requirements related to safety, quality, service levels, cost and productivity. * Participate/Lead cross-functional projects involving the continuous improvement of distribution/logistics concepts. Drive data driven quality improvement leveraging the problem solving, ensuring containment actions are in place while eliminating the root cause. * Conduct quality claims review and respond/assign as necessary to provide resolution to the customer. * Recommend and implement changes regarding operational/capability improvements including: equipment replacement, resource alignment in support of business unit plans, ensure cost-effective procedures/systems are utilized, space optimization and to continually improve operational productivity. * Workforce planning - requisitioning, contingent workforce, review of FTE count, etc. You have: * 4 year degree in business related field is preferred * Ideally 7 years of experience in a Distribution environment. * Ideally 5 years of experience in a leadership position. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook. * Experience identifying and developing future leaders through succession planning. * Basic knowledge of business processes. * Attention to detail & accuracy and excellent written & verbal communication. * Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands - Much of the work will be in a manufacturing and distribution operations environment.
