Immediately Hiring - Clinical Information Systems Manager At CDL Nuclear, we help our Cardiology Facility Clients by providing innovative healthcare and medical life science products and service solutions around the country. CDL Nuclear has provided advanced imaging services to more than 850 healthcare facilities since 1992. Job Type: Full-time/Salaried. What will you do as a Clinical Information Systems Manager: FUNCTION: The clinical information system manager will ensure information technology standards and security controls within the clinical operations areas are implemented. They will report to Director of IT and work alongside clinical operations teams, vendors, and customers to ensure that IT best practices, operating procedures, information security and compliance requirements are met. They will propose new methodologies, solutions, or processes to meet evolving operational and information security objectives. They will assist clinical teams to be more efficient and effective with standardization, configuration of assets, validation of compliance requirements, and support of customers. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Point of contact for the clinical billing automation solution. Implementation, support, change management, reporting, onboarding customers. * Project management of new business initiatives or changes in the clinical areas related to IT solutions, changes, procurement, or applications. * Liaison and subject matter expert to the clinical implementation teams for ensuring IT best practices, security standards, compliance guidelines, vendor software configurations, and other requirements for customer installs are met. * Define clinical IT operating requirements, and translate requirements into clear, specific, system configurations, with ability to guide implementation of those configurations. * Document policies, data flows, standard operating procedures, check sheets and training materials for clinical application specialist teams. * Evaluate legacy clinical operational tools, applications, and process and modernize to align with business agility. * Participation in customer security assessments, technical reviews, and implementation team meetings. Provide guidance and insight for complex technical installations and customer integrations with Electronic Heath Record (EHR), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), Vendor Neutral archives (VNA), etc. * Assist in asset management, administration and support of current remote management and monitoring tools (RMM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for various clinical divisions inside of CDL. * Meet with IT and clinical leadership to recommend process improvements, efficiencies, objectives, or concerns. * Recommendation and/or implementation of new solutions, technologies, and processes to support ongoing business goals and new business segments. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent strongly preferred. Certificate programs accepted with appropriate experience. * Four years of clinical information technology/information systems experience. * Excellent organizational, leadership, project management, and detail-oriented writing skills. * Experience working in clinical settings with information systems such as EHR, PACS, VNAs, virtualized environments, and Windows domains. Specialization with cardiac solutions preferred. * Ability to communicate professionally and effectively within the organization along with external customers and vendors. * Proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems. Knowledge and utilization of windows security features and best practices. * Basic understanding of networking concepts, hardware and protocols, as related to integration of clinical software, information systems and ancillaries. * Use of remote access and mobile device management technologies in an operational support capacity * Comprehension of HIPAA requirements pertaining to information system and computer configurations, baselines, and controls. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain satisfactory results by following set procedures and standards. Most of the worktime is spent at the desk. Reaching, handling, bending, and lifting are necessary when typing and filing. Near visual acuity to avoid perceptual errors when ordering and logging information. Talking and hearing is required when receiving or relaying telephone calls and/or messages. Work is inside. Travel will be required (50-75%) until comfortable/familiar with clinical operations processes, or as new opportunities arise. Ability to deal with stressful situations during peak workloads. Some off-hour work may be required to accommodate clinical schedules.
