Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: None Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: None Suitability: Public Trust/Other Required: None Job Family: IT Quality Assurance Job Qualifications: Skills: Communication, Quality Assurance (QA), Software Testing Process, Structured Query Language (SQL), Test Planning Certifications: Experience: 5 + years of related experience US Citizenship Required: No Job Description: Senior QA Analyst Job Description: * Develops and executes test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization * Documents results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality * Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing) * Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization * Supports, designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for QA processes * Manages testing efforts under tight deadlines * Needs to have excellent verbal and written communication skills * Agile development methodology experience preferred * Works independently * Self motivated Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field. * 4+ years' experience in software testing * 4+ years' experience in insurance industry to include experience in the Medicaid Claims adjudication * Experience in Agile Software development * TSO / SQL knowledge is desirable * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Desired Qualifications: * Experience in Medicaid/Medicare or insurance industry; to include a minimum of 5 years experience in the Medicaid Claims applications."       GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: * Full-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home * 401K with company match * Comprehensive health and wellness packages * Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career * Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications * Cutting-edge technology you can learn from * Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays The likely salary range for this position is $72,250 - $97,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
