Lanier Technical College - Forsyth County campus; Cumming, GA (www.laniertech.edu) is conducting a search for the following full-time, salaried, FLSA-exempt, benefit-eligible position. POSITION: WEB MANAGER/DATA SPECIALIST REPORTS TO: Vice President of Technology/CIO SALARY RANGE: Low to Mid $70's, depending on qualifications and experience EFFECTIVE: July 1, 2024 RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision, is responsible for developing, creating, updating, and maintaining all web content; serving as the TargetX Administrator. Also responsible for developing, creating, updating, and maintaining interactive forms and related workflows; and developing, creating, updating, and maintaining interactive local institution dynamic reporting website. MAJOR DUTIES: * Ensures accuracy and consistency of web site material and performs daily maintenance on the site; * Develops and manages the content, design, layout and scheme for the site using current web technologies; * Assists with web site development and management by researching new developments relative to the World Wide Web; * Automates web site through the use of markup and programming languages; * Recommends and implements developments to improve or facilitate the performance and function of the website; * Secures sites against illegal intrusion and abuse; * Attends training as scheduled to improve the skills and knowledge necessary to maintain an easy to navigate and growing web site; * Responds to internal/external customer concerns regarding websites; * Ensures page owners can perform maintenance and updates of web pages where security allows; * Maintains TargetX user accounts and TargetX licenses, implements and records of all authorized TargetX security changes, and maintains local TargetX documentation; * Provides basic introductory training for employees in regards to TargetX; * Develops, creates, updates, and maintains interactive forms and related workflows across varied platforms; * Develops, creates, updates, and maintains dynamic reports and associated reporting websites; * Participates in meetings and on committees to find new technologies to improve service and efficiency; * Other work-related duties as assigned by Supervisor. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * A Bachelor's degree AND three (3) years of related work experience, OR a High School Diploma or equivalent AND seven (7) years of related work experience; * Experience with Salesforce and TargetX * Experience with MySQL and MSSQL complex queries * Experience with WordPress, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap * Knowledge of the Americans with Disability Act as it applies to websites * Expertise with LAMP stack development (Linux, Apache, Mysql/MariaDB, PHP) COMPETENCIES: * Ability to create graphics and visuals * Ability to apply technical skills using software programs to manipulate, restructure and enhance current web pages * Knowledge of developing graphics and visuals * Expertise in HTML, CSS, WordPress, PHP, and SQL * Skill in the operation of computers and job-related software programs * Effective decision making and problem-solving skills * Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public * Effective oral and written communication skills * Effective project management skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work is typically performed while sitting as a desk or table, or while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, or walking. Occasionally lifts light objects and uses tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity. Work is typically performed in an office environment. Ability to work at all locations supported by the Technology Department, as needed. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (In addition to minimum qualifications & competencies): * Bachelor's degree in a related field *and* Five (5) years of related work experience. * Experience with GravityForms, GravityFlow, GravityView or similar products related to electronic form workflow and electronic form development.
