Title: Administrative Director, Clinical & Administration Location: Upper East Side Org Unit: Nephrology and Hypertension Work Days: Weekly Hours: 35.00 Exemption Status: Exempt Salary Range: $155,000.00 - $186,700.00 * As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices Position Summary Manages all administrative and compliance activities related to The Immunogenetics and Transplantation Center (IGT). The AD plans, directs, and controls the required activities and administrative functions of IGT and participates in formulating strategic planning and managing the implementation of planning decisions. Job Responsibilities * Handles all staff relation issues with the Directors, Manager, Supervisor, and HR Director; initiates the hiring of all new personnel, salary reviews, increases; maintain licensure, CVs, and CME credits; supervise clerical staff. * Maintain laboratory payroll and schedules, including on-call enter on-call, travel time, and supplemental income for staff; keep PTO records, attendance, and lateness logs; Approves biweekly pay for staff. * Coordinate and file the annual Medicare cost report and audit; report monthly changes in revenue and testing; participate in the analysis of lab charge structure with Medicare Intermediary; ensure lab is up to date with Medicare regulations. * Responsible for lab fiscal planning, accounts receivable and accounts payable, monthly account reconciliation with the IGT Accountant, quarterly adjustment entries, financial reporting, preparing financial statements for annual audit preparation. * Responsible for monthly billing for histocompatibility testing, complies and reviews testing log entries for accuracy daily and reviews requisitions weekly, reconciles all billing/revenue monthly. * Maintains monthly statistics for finance reports and Medicare Consultant and works with Histotrac for changes in the billing database. * Updates the annual space survey and approves utilization of the space, maintains and updates the yearly equipment inventory reports, coordinates relocation projects. * Participates in Policy Development and Review, participates in and keeps minutes for weekly IGT QA/QI Meeting. * Collaborates with Building Manager and building staff to ensure proper vendor status and insurance for lab projects. * Participates in lab inspections, acquires and/or leases all laboratory equipment and initiates subsequent maintenance contracts; oversees maintenance of instruments and equipment. Education * Master's Degree preferred Experience * Approximately 3-5 years of progressively responsible administrative, financial, and supervisory experience, preferably in an academic medical center.
