Manufacturing Engineer Moog Inc. Blacksburg, VA Moog Space and Defense Group is the operating group with the longest heritage at Moog. Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join them. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia To be considered for Manufacturing Engineer, here's what you'll need to bring with you * Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field or a bachelor's degree with relative work experience to a manufacturing role or an associate degree with 3 years of related experience * Experience working in a team environment. * Experience communicating with internal and external customers, coworkers, and other disciplines across the business. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will: * Work and maintain confidential information * You will be the support to the Motor production line and Outsource Vendors * Oversee the manufacturing process development with a domestic and international team * Create engineering and tool drawings, order and support manufacturing tooling, work instructions, labor standards, facility layout, quotes and continuous improvement * Review and respond to request for quotes on new orders * Conduct mechanical and electrical manufacturing design reviews and offer improvement suggestions for manufacturability * Travel off-Site travel domestically and * Enforce and follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements as they apply such as * Provide reports to management on daily, weekly and monthly performance to schedules and * Support technical exchange discussions with suppliers and Moog * Cross-train to help in other areas * Complete any other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor or operations manager.
