Job Description: The Radiography Clinical Coordinator is responsible for supervision of the clinical education portion of the Radiologic Technology program. They are responsible for the placement and supervision of students at the clinical site, which includes regular visits to clinical sites where students are being trained. Some of the key responsibilities of the Clinical Coordinator include but not limited to the following: Correlating and coordinating clinical education with didactic education and evaluating its effectiveness Participating in didactic and/or clinical instruction Supporting the program director to assure effective program operations Participating in the accreditation and assessment processes Maintaining current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development Maintaining current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress Teaching assignment will include instruction in relation to on campus radiologic technology laboratories at the associate level. The clinical coordinator is also responsible for providing necessary documentation for continued accreditation with JRCERT to include outcome assessment. Additional duties will include assisting in student recruitment, student orientation and various college/department services. * PM18 #LI-KC1 Requirements: Holds, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree or willingness to complete within 12-24 months of their start date Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising Documents two years' clinical experience in the professional discipline Documents one year's experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program Holds current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration, or equivalent, in radiography Additional Information: The starting salary for this position is $54,000 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
