Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Senior Underwriter to their Corporate Synergies team in Philadelphia Metro Region. Job Summary: The Senior Underwriter works independently providing technical support and service to the Account Management team. Essential Functions: * Gathering account and historical data and preparing monthly reporting package for assigned clients * Reviewing carrier renewals and related carrier interaction * Creating budget projections and premium equivalent rates for assigned clients * Create mid-year pre-renewal projections for fully insured clients on an as needed basis * Prepare ad hoc claims analysis as needed Competencies & Qualifications: * Ability to develop strong relationships, both with the clients and with the CSG team * Knowledge of carrier processes and plan designs * Strong oral and written communication skills * Proficient in the use of office databases and presentation software (Microsoft Office Suite) * Organization and attention to detail * Flexible, multi-task abilities * Ability to work in both a team environment and independently Education & Experience: * Bachelor's degree preferred * Minimum of 10 years of underwriting experience with a health and welfare carrier or broker providing account management services and support to clients of 100 lives or more
