The Data Analyst Intern will play an integral role in all finance and operations analytics that cover a variety of analytics & process improvements projects. The intern will be expected to work on-site on our Ballwin office three days a week, including Mondays and Thursdays. At the end of this three-month internship and upon further assessment of performance, you will have the opportunity of being offered a full-time position. Start/End dates are flexible, but internship is expected to start in September or October 2024. Responsibilities: * Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases and data sources. * Develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI to visualize key metrics and insights. * Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation. * Assist in data cleaning, validation, and transformation tasks to ensure data accuracy and integrity. * Conduct ad-hoc analysis and generate actionable insights to support decision-making processes. * Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and results. Required Qualifications and Skills: * Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. * Proficiency in SQL query writing and database management systems. Experience with Snowflake is a plus. * Familiarity with data visualization tool, Power BI. * Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and trends effectively. * Detail-oriented with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. * Must possess strong initiative and take ultimate ownership of work Preferred Qualifications and Skills: * Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) for data manipulation and modeling. * Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. * Understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA). * Advanced degree in analytics related fields. * Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater * Students graduating on or before May 2025. More Details: * Pay range: $27 - $30/hr based on prior experiences and other factors. * Weekly commitment: 24 hours or 3 business days a week. * Work on-site on our Ballwin office 3 days a week, including Mondays and Thursdays
