Work Shift: Swing Pay Type: Hourly Hourly Rate (if applicable): $24.85 Targeted Base Salary Range (if applicable): N/A JOB OVERVIEW: The Powered Industrial Lift Operator operates a forklift to move supplies, equipment, raw materials, and finished goods to and from various processes throughout a fast-paced food manufacturing facility. Performs material movement transactions by scanning and interfacing with the inventory management system. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Operate a forklift according to established safety standards while meeting quality requirements and production targets. * Complete pre-operational inspections to ensure lift is safe to drive and will perform reliably. * Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and standard work to uphold the high-quality production of goods. * Actively communicate with fellow team members to solve problems and engage in continuous improvement. * Understand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to make critical operating decisions to achieve company and department goals. * Perform equipment cleaning, floor housekeeping, and sanitation tasks for sustained operations. * Efficiently navigate within software applications to perform inventory transactions, record data, and monitor key processes and production flows. WHAT YOU NEED * Minimum qualifications * High school diploma or GED * Work overtime; occasionally flex hours * Forklift license and/or pass a certification course * Able to lift 50 pounds * Preferred qualifications * Previous experience in food manufacturing * At least 1 year industrial lift operating experience WORK ENVIRONMENT This is a standard manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, hazardous materials, and heavy machinery in varying work and weather conditions.
