Job Summary As the Software Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by building, leading and managing the quality assurance competency within our organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance strategies, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement QA best practices and enhance the overall software development lifecycle. Responsibilities * Willingness to do hands-on test automation development at early stage while building the test automation practice from the ground-up * Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Assurance strategy encompassing robust governance framework for the entire quality engineering lifecycle, test planning, execution, and automation * Establish and maintain efficient testing processes, including test case management, defect tracking, and test environment management * Identify opportunities and drive the adoption of test automation to enhance the effectiveness of QA processes * Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to evidence of testing and software quality assurance * Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement * Develop and document enterprise testing standards that enforce consistency * Oversee the execution of test strategies and test plans * Drive the design and implementation of continuous integration, continuous test, and continuous delivery (CI/CT/CD) practices * Lead the design and implementation of in-sprint automation strategies to ensure that automated testing is an integral part of the development process * Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams to create effective test plans and test cases and embed them into the organization's Agile delivery methodology * Establish clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for testing, and monitor progress towards achieving them * Monitor and analyze QA metrics and key performance indicators to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and increase efficiency * Opportunity to lead and mentor one or more quality engineers, and guide their professional development Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field * Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies, with a strong understanding of testing frameworks and tools * Proficiency in the Tricentis test automation framework with modules including Tosca and qTest * Proven experience in a quality assurance testing leadership role * Working knowledge of ERP ecosystems, connected enterprise applications, API integrations, their functions within a manufacturing organization, and how QA test automation applies to these systems What CRH Offers You * Highly competitive base pay * Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs * Group retirement savings program * Health and wellness programs * A diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
