Position Summary: The Human Resources Consultant I will provide support to the overall Recruitment/Onboarding process. Major Position Responsibilities: The position characteristics reflect the most important duties, responsibilities and competencies considered necessary to perform the essential functions of the job in a fully competent manner. The characteristics of the position and standards of performance may be changed by TCMC with or without prior notice based on the needs of the organization. * Maintains a safe, clean working environment, including unit based safety and infection control requirements. * Handles routine applicant correspondence. * Sourcing candidates via LinkedIn, Indeed and other sources. * Prepare paperwork for employment offers. * Ensure verifications of employment for employees and candidates is completed. * Coordinates Traveler process with agencies and department managers, including onboarding. * Assists with New Hire Onboarding. * May work with peers on monitoring the flow of processes. * May assist with other HR functions as needed. Qualifications: * Minimum of one (1) year experience in Recruiting, Human Resources or equivalent experience, required. * Experience in a hospital and union environment, preferred. * Ability to prioritize demands to meet multiple deadlines while offering detailed oriented work, required. * Must be discreet and maintain confidentiality. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Strong presentation, verbal/written communication and conflict resolution skills. * Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and MS Word, required. Education: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar is preferred. Each new hire candidate who is offered employment must pass a physical evaluation, urine drug screen and pre-employment background checks before starting work. * Salary/Hourly Wage range based on experience.
