Position Summary Position open until filled. First Review of materials will begin: Tuesday June 18, 2024. Salary range for this position is: $69,155/yr. - $95,499/yr. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas. Under the supervision of the Director of International Marketing & Outreach, the Associate Director of International Marketing & Outreach will be responsible for planning, creating, and carrying out marketing efforts to recruit international students to Seattle Colleges. Work includes fostering and maintaining relations with partner organizations and institutions domestically and internationally, participating in fairs and other recruitment events, traveling overseas up to 12 weeks per year, and managing assigned recruitment regions. Creating, developing, and producing products to be used in print and electronic international marketing materials. This position supervises hourly/student worker(s). This position is full-time and typically scheduled to work Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM. The schedule may vary depending on program needs. Position requires international travel, and evening and weekend work as needed. The position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement. What you will be working on: * Plan and manage the marketing of educational products overseas, with recruitment responsibilities in specific regions of the world. * Develop and carry out marketing and recruitment plans in assigned regions that correlate to the overall IP Marketing & Outreach strategic plan. * Travel overseas up to 12 weeks per year as determined by marketing strategic plan. Provide information (cultural, immigration, academic, and transfer information) to agents, embassies, international companies, high schools, colleges, universities, and prospective international students and their parents. Develop and maintain relationships with partners. Host training sessions and seminars. * Host prospective students, parents, agents, and school representatives on campus. Lead information sessions (academic program, admission, cultural, immigration information). * Create and deliver presentations on Seattle Colleges to groups at local schools or events. * Answer general and specific inquiries via email from agents and prospective students in specific regions of the world * Manage a segment of social media to include: creation of high-quality original content, primarily video for advertising related to international recruitment and outreach; analysis and application of data to increase impact and reach of advertising campaigns. * Conceptualize, design and produce IP marketing materials (print and electronic), including brochures, booklets, flyers, blogs, videos, website graphics, graphics-based communications for prospective students, and advertisements * Manage print production: select printers, arrange timetables for scope and completion of projects; project and monitor expenditures; handle all coordination and communication related to the design files, proofing, print, and final delivery of media projects * Keep photo library updated and relevant; ensure content is fresh and selection is adequate to cover the large-scale and numerous media campaigns and projects for diverse international audiences * Manage international digital marketing initiatives including the strategy, creation, optimization, and reporting of digital advertising campaigns in Google, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms. Manage video and audio equipment. * Perform other duties as required. What you bring as a candidate: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience) * Bachelor's degree (or the equivalent) from an accredited institution * Experience with visual media, design, and video production using software such as Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Premiere, Audition, and Aftereffects * Demonstrated skills in photography and videography and in developing engaging print/web media * A minimum one year of experience in international marketing and outreach; two years of other international experience, signifying a strong understanding of and commitment to international education, may substitute * Excellent command of the English language, including the ability to read, write, and speak clearly and professionally * Demonstrated excellent public relations and interpersonal skills with internationally diverse customers, clients, colleagues, and high school and college students * Evidence of being highly organized with the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure * Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as cooperatively within a group * Demonstrated ability to conduct research, analyze data, draw conclusions, utilize problem solving and critical thinking skills, and create strategic plans * Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and supervise and evaluate the performance of others * A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to international education * A valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally and internationally up to 12 weeks per year * Demonstrated ability to supervise and evaluate the performance of others Physical Requirements: The Position Typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to Perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Encounters frequent interruptions throughout the workday. Is regularly required to provide 1:1 support, present to small groups, and work at a computer exercising repetitive hand motion with or without reasonable accommodation.
