Job Description: At Bay Path University, career development is integral to each student's academic journey, from enrollment to post-graduation, aligning with our mission to empower students as leaders in their careers and communities. The Sullivan Career and Life Planning Center at Bay Path University provides all students equal access to valuable resources, guidance, and opportunities to name their values and dreams, align their interests with professional pathways, develop career competencies that meet community and industry needs, and successfully navigate their futures with clarity and purpose. We seek a bilingual Career Coach, who is fluent in English and Spanish, to join our dedicated team at the Sullivan Center for Career and Life Planning (SCLP). Reporting to the Director of Career Coaching and Services, the ideal candidate will provide culturally relevant, comprehensive support services to students in their preferred language of Spanish and/or English. The services provided, include career coaching, training, networking events, resume assistance, interview preparation, and onboarding support for experiential learning opportunities. Apply now to be part of Bay Path University's commitment to empowering individuals for success. * Collaborate with the Director and other team members to deliver culturally relevant, supportive, strengths-based career coaching, encompassing resume and cover letter reviews, interview guidance, salary negotiation support, and utilization of career exploration tools. * Assist in onboarding learners for work-based experiential learning under the direction of the Director of Experiential Learning and Workforce Engagement. * Develop, promote, execute, and evaluate impactful career programming and events for students, faculty, staff, and alumni, both in-person and virtually. * Engage in the daily review of student and alumni documents via the Handshake platform. * Coordinate closely with academic departments to align coaching practices with specific curricula and industry standards. * Collect, analyze, and organize data for reporting purposes, including career outcomes and student satisfaction metrics. * Foster seamless support for student and alumni needs by collaborating with Educator Coaches, Advisors, Student Success Center, and Alumni Relations staff. * Administer and engage with career-based virtual tools to enhance student experiences. * Aid in maintaining, developing, and promoting career-related materials on the SCLP website, Handshake, and other communication channels. * Support managing alumni-student mentoring and networking initiatives. * Maintain accurate records in compliance with university policies and procedures. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree preferred in human services, student affairs, psychology, higher education, leadership, or organizational studies. Equivalent experience with career coaching certification and 2-3 years of case management or client services may substitute. * Knowledge of academic or industry fields preferred, such as health and natural sciences, psychology, education, humanities, management, or technology. * Fluency in English and Spanish is required. * Proficiency in integrating diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice principles into practice. * Demonstrated ability to provide effective strengths-based career coaching. * Experience working with non-traditional, underrepresented, underserved, and first-generation students strongly desired. * Competence in program administration, analysis, and assessment. * Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. * Familiarity with productivity software, Salesforce, virtual meeting tools, and social media. * Comfort with instructional technologies and online course management systems such as Canvas. * Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and FERPA compliance. * Excellent customer service skills. * Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. * Understanding of the mission and goals of the university and the role of a Career Coach in achieving them. * Adherence to university policies and procedures. * Ability to adhere to University policies and procedures. * Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. * Should be committed to a culture of diversity, equity, respect and inclusion. * General knowledge of the University's mission, purpose, and goals and the role this position plays in achieving those goals.
