Overview Financial Analyst Intern (VOPS-2024-20937): Bowhead's V Department Operations and Analysis Support contract is seeking a Financial Analyst to fulfill the role for a period lasting 4-6 months. Responsibilities This internship will support Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (ABMD) at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). On-the-job training will be provided for the more specific aspects of the role but a successful applicant will be able to: 1. Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain data across various programs 2. Keep track of multiple dates/deadlines 3. Proactively communicate about unused funding, work dates, etc. 4. Attend meetings as requested 5. Compile expenditure reports Applicants must be able to obtain a Government Clearance. Qualifications * Must be able to use program as college credit toward degree * Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts * Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands: * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds * Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time * Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level.
