Overview We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join our growing team in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Responsibilities & Qualifications Position Overview As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Momentive Software, you will play a vital role in driving the growth of our non-profit/associations & events sector. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the expansion of our customer base within the non-profit, associations & events space. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by connecting organizations with solutions that enhance their effectiveness and impact. A Day in the Life * Prospect and generate new business leads within the non-profit sector through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and networking. * Conduct thorough research to identify key decision-makers within target organizations and understand their needs, challenges, and priorities. * Initiate and nurture relationships with prospects, engaging in consultative conversations to uncover opportunities for Momentive Software's' solutions. * Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule meetings or demos with the appropriate sales representatives. * Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop effective strategies for lead generation and pipeline development. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system. * Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in non-profit & associations management to effectively position Momentive Software's' solutions. We are looking for someone who brings * Has a Passion to Build a Career in Technology Solution Sales * Able to come into the office 5 days a week * 1+ year of experience in a Business Development role preferred * Has a Bachelor's degree, preferred (minimum High School Diploma or GED) * Experience with Salesforce and or Sales Loft strongly preferred * Has excellent communication skills, both written and oral * Has the ability to manage multiple relationships * Has attention to detail with excellent organization skills * Has contagious positivity * Has effective time management skills * Motivation, driven and a self-starting attitude * Customer-centric mindset with a passion for helping others * Can build successful relationships and partnerships at all organizational levels, internally, externally, intra and interdepartmentally, working independantly or with a team * Strong ability to listen, understand, and ask the right questions to understand the customers needs and meet that need with a successful sale Total Rewards About Us About Momentive Software (formerly Community Brands) Momentive Software is a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions for associations, nonprofits, schools, and faith-based organizations.
