Recruiting for this role ends on September 12th, 2024 Work you'll do * Support financial and accounting operations while recommending improvements to financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. * Assist in the development and implementation of internal control systems and governance. * Analyze financial data to identify trends, perform variance analysis, and provide detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. * Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, analyzing discrepancies between actuals and forecasts to help guide business decisions. * Review and apply policies and procedures to test and document results of testing. * Draft process documentation, presentations to client leadership, and meeting agendas. * Perform analysis and diagnosis of client financial control issues and gaps. Qualifications Required: * Bachelor's degree required in accounting, business, finance, or another business-related field. * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification * 1+ year(s) of experience improving financial processes and/or governmental accounting and financial reporting. * Proficiency in major accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. * Deep understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in financial analysis, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. * Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on work you do and the clients and the industries/sectors you serve. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $62,985 to $110,500.
