Key Responsibilities: * Creating detailed drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers. * Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and specifications. * Incorporating design changes and modifications into existing drawings. * Ensuring that drawings comply with industry standards and regulations. * Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches. * Creating 2D and 3D models of structures, components, and systems. * Performing calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy of drawings. * Organizing and maintaining drawing files and documentation. * Communicating and coordinating with project team members to ensure timely completion of drawings. * Providing support during the construction or manufacturing process by clarifying drawings and providing additional information as needed. * CAD Drafters should have a strong understanding of drafting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks. * They should have excellent attention to detail and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: * Key Skills:CAD/ GIS Experience MicroStation experience is a MUST 4-5 yrs+, Utility, gas/distribution exp A MUST * CAD/ GIS Experience * Electric distribution background a plus * Must have reliable transportation and phone * MicroStation experience is a MUST * 4-5 yrs+, Utility, gas/distribution exp A MUST, * CAD exp 4-5 yrs+ * 2 year technical degree or equivalent certification (minimum).
