We invite you to contribute your talents to our community.  The Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) at Roosevelt is comprised of three Conservatories:  Music, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Theatre.  Our faculty and staff maintain successful professional careers in their chosen fields alongside their commitment to training and educating our students in preparation to enter performing arts industries.   The Theatre Conservatory seeks an adjunct instructor to teach a beginning course in tap dance.  This course will be offered in both fall and spring semesters and is a requirement for our BFA programs in Musical Theatre and Musical Theatre Dance.  Instructors would be expected to teach:   * Fundamentals of tap dance * Technique, rudiments, pick-up & retention  * Rhythm, time, articulation  * Performance skills & styles    Applications will be reviewed immediately with an expected start date for the Fall 2024 semester.
