The Best Players Need the Best People. This position will provide travel assistance to PGA TOUR Players and employees within the parameters of the Travel Policy. Agents will provide the highest level of customer service to our clients when making reservations for airline travel, rental cars and hotels. QUALIFICATIONS * High School education, or equivalent, required. Associates Degree or accredited travel school certificate preferred. * Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes * A minimum of 3 years recent corporate travel agent experience, including high level customer service and airline ticketing skills * Proficiency in Apollo/Galileo, or other GDS, required * Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed. * Strong telephone and communication skills required RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES * Interface with clients to gather information related to their travel needs in order to make appropriate air/hotel/rental car reservations * Complete travel arrangements for clients with vendors in the most economical manner * Participate as needed in completing all functions related to servicing the client including ticket processing, clerical functions, etc * Follow company procedures, guidelines and standards in areas of customer service, ticketing, computer reservation system productivity, attendance and accuracy of work including following up on changes and maintaining queues * Research and provide solutions to travel-related problems clients may have experienced * Remain fully abreast of all airline rules, regulations, tariffs and other industry requirements. Accurately apply this information when making travel arrangements including geographical locations * Special projects or other duties as assigned
