NVIDIA data center systems, such as DGX, MGX and HGX, have become core to NVIDIA's rapidly growing enterprise and cloud provider businesses. These platforms bring together the full power of NVIDIA GPUs, NVIDIA NVLink, NVIDIA InfiniBand networking, NVIDIA Grace CPUs, and a fully optimized NVIDIA AI and HPC software stack. We're looking for a leader build full system simulators, enabling NVIDIA software developers and partners to develop software and applications in advance of the next generation processors being back in our labs or in production. The simulators will be used to test the full software stack, including firmware, kernel drivers, operating systems, user mode drivers, and applications. You leverage simulation work done across NVIDIA at the IP level, including simulator components for GPU, CPU and NICs to build a full solution of a DC server (includes CPU, GPU, network, peripherals, BMC/OOB, etc). What you'll be doing: * Align the simulator roadmap with our next generation GPU accelerated platforms. * Build and deliver full server simulation platform to internal developers and NVIDIA partners. * Provide administrative and technical direction of a core group software development engineers working on simulators. * Make sure the team executes perfectly in delivering on customer and internal commitments. * Drive and facilitate the planning, scheduling and execution of projects and activities of your team. * Engage with partners at industry leading cloud service providers to ensure they can make use of the server simulation platforms. * Growing the team. Hiring key leads and developers. The team has been recently established, an opportunity to make a big impact in an area of mounting importance. What we need to see: * Bachelor of Science (or equivalent experience) or Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 10+ years of experience developing and leading complex low-level or system software projects and 7+ yrs of management experience * Experience with virtualization, simulation and emulation technologies. * Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills with a capability to achieve objectives under tight deadlines. * Deep experience in designing architecture for scalable and performant server systems, particularly at the SW/HW interface. * Previous experience working with complex system software for accelerators such as GPUs, DPUs, or FPGAs. * Experience leading multiple projects with competing priorities. * Demonstrate strong C programming skills with experience working with large codebases. * Experience with operating system interfaces for threads, process control, and virtual memory. Experience writing and debugging multithreaded programs. Ways to stand out from the crowd: * Prior Senior Management and Director level experience. Deep understanding of system level architecture, such as topologies, interconnects, memory hierarchy, interrupts, and memory-mapped IO. * Knowledge of high performance RDMA network protocols, software and hardware. * Expertise in Out of Band and Inband management architectures. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
