Responsibilities<\/b>: <\/p> * With supervision, acts as a conduit between patient and/or guest and healthcare professional for communication in the patient's preferred language.<\/li> * Interprets basic medical terminology, including but not limited to anatomy, disease processes, prescriptions, and procedures.<\/li> * Complies with all privacy and confidentiality policies and the Code of Conduct for Medical Interpreters.<\/li> * Observes experienced medical interpreters to develop skills and knowledge.<\/li><\/ul> Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
