MUST OBTAIN APS WITHIN 18 MONTHS OF HIRE Supervisory responsibility for overall management, program implementation, and supervision of specified Component. Administratively responsible for the program, policies, operations, and related matters; which include the continued development of the behavioral health program including implementation and delivery of the program objectives. Personnel responsibilities include justification, recruiting, selecting, training, and recommending hiring and firing. Work requires a basic concern for the quality of care, a concern for helping the substance abuser, a belief in human potential for growth, and a willingness to coordinate and work cooperatively. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible for the planning, coordinating, supervising and overall management of work associated with daily supervision of program operations, to include the management of performance measurefinancials, personnel and resolving urgent and emergent issues before, during and after hours, and reporting any issues to the Divisional Director/Vice President of Prevention Intervention Strategies. * Ensuring program operations, services, and personnel remain in compliance with contracts, licensing/grant requirements and with federal, state, local, and organizational rules, regulations and policies and procedures. * Collaborating as required with grant proposals and community activities. * Preparing and submitting program reports, organizational reports, and other status and compliance reports as requested by the Divisional Director/Administrator, or other designated supervisor, and in a timely manner. * Attending department, supervisory, and contract required meetings/calls, and disseminating information to staff as necessary for them to perform their job functions. * Responsible for identifying sufficient staffing patterns, defining job requirements, training, and evaluating staff. Responsible for supervising and managing of time off requests, timecards, overtime, and sufficient coverage in assigned department. * Responsible for ensuring the employees and programs are prepared for federal, state, and accrediting entity inspections and audits at all times. * Responsible for monthly and quarterly file reviews and ensuring compliance of client records with statement of work and quality treatment practices. * Assisting with screenings, assessments, intakes, and individual and group counseling services as needed, and to include carrying a caseload when warranted. * Representing the organizational by speaking before public on substance use and/or mental health, education, prevention, and treatment. * Maintains good work habits through timeliness and low absenteeism. Punctual at all times; Takes initiative to identify and analyze problems; generates alternative solutions; Carries out any and all other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of Aliviane Inc. * Understands, accepts, implements, and promotes Aliviane Inc. mission Statement, program/department goals, philosophy, and objectives; Serves as a role model for employees, clients and community partners. Additional Eligibility Qualifications * Proven leadership qualities and ability to work under stressful situations; ability to react to emergency situations appropriately and effectively when required. * Demonstrate the ability to lead and teach others in making effective changes, strong analytic qualities to analyze goals, programs, and processes. * Demonstrate the ability to maintain effective channels of communication with the organization, with other programs, and applicable to state agencies, and with clients and visitors. * Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills and the ability to negotiate between diverse perspectives. * Knowledgeable on Microsoft computer programs such but not limited to word, excel, power point and internet. * Willingness to network and participate in other community service agency projects, speaks before and become a member of work- related organizations. Supervisory Responsibility * Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department. * Oversees the daily workflow of the department. * Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations. * Handles discipline and termination of employees per company policy. Work Environment/Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to talk or listen. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and using standard office equipment. This position requires the ability to move throughout the community and occasionally must be able to lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds at times. Work Schedule The work schedule is Standard from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and on a flexible schedule on planned events. Work Location Onsite. Temporary hybrid work may be available upon approval and subject to business needs. Travel 25% travel is expected for this position to air travel, local and regional travel.
