St. John the Evangelist Church in Silver Spring, Maryland is seeking an evangelizing Catholic who knows, loves, and lives the teachings of the Church to serve as the Director of Religious Education and RCIA. St. John's is a vibrant and multi-cultural parish. The Director of Faith Formation will report directly to the Pastor and will oversee all aspects of faith formation at the parish: children's faith formation, adult formation [RCIA], youth and young adult ministry. The ability to work with other pastoral staff, organizational skills - including database and records management - are essential. Job qualifications: * A bachelor's degree in theology or catechesis preferred.
