Job Purpose: To gain real world experience and exposure to the technology aspects of a manufacturing industry Responsibilities: Will be involved in one or more of the following activities: * Data Structures and Models * Data Pipelines and ELT * Data Performance * Visualizations and Dashboards Intern will work within a team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Data Analysts. Intern will be given their own project to complete during this internship. Requirements: * Must graduate in August 2025, December 2025, or May 2026 and major in an MIS (or related field) major with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred * Possess strong analytical and communication skills * Demonstrated leadership and persuasive skills are necessary for success in this position * Possess strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit * Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States * Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa * This position will require access to and/or the utilization of a personal motor vehicle to get to and from the workplace Location and Hours: * Position is based out of our Corporate Office headquarters in Austin, MN * Position is approximately 40 hours per week beginning late May and ending mid-August Compensation/Benefits: * Competitive wage * The base pay range is $21 to $24 per hour; however, actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location * Paid housing allowance * Reimbursement of all expenses incurred on the job * Company 401k match * Earn Paid Time off Hormel Foods Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
