ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees service billing staffs to ensure customer billing is complete and meets all customer expectations. Conducts regular meetings to inform staff of applicable changes with system billing tools, customer requirements, and current processes. Communicates daily with direct reports, service managers and technicians to resolve Open Ticket issues and customer disputes. Works with service managers and regional directors on a regular basis to answer questions regarding margins, zero-bills, credits, customer requirement changes and transfers. Assists with billing of difficult customers, problem work orders and special billing circumstances as needed. Evaluates and monitors current process, while looking for ways to improve and simplify work flow. Makes adjustments as necessary to balance the workload among the team to meet customer expectations as well as department and company goals. Handles general requests and offers assistance to those in corporate accounting, collections and HR as needed. This includes monthly + box reconciliations, managing and/or processing credits and credit/re-bills, clarification of re-allocated costs from service to SG&A GL accounts, and supplying service work order data. Coaches and disciplines staff when problems arise. Resolves conflict when necessary. Maintain confidentiality regarding employees and sensitive information. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES: Excellent organization and communication skills. Ability to multi-task effectively and detail-oriented. Ability to interact with all levels of management in various departments. Solid knowledge of general accounting principal, billing, payroll, and payable procedures in order to provide accurate instructions to others in accordance with the established practices. Previous supervisory/management experience. Ability to organize and prioritize your own work schedule and the work schedules of others on short-term basis. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy. Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, communicating orally with others accurately, clearly, and quickly. Some travel to other branch locations. COMPUTER SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE: Solid working knowledge of use of the Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel, etc.). Knowledge of use of Dynamics preferred. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred. 5+ years of billing or accounting experience.
