Position Responsibilities * Lead a multi-craft workforce engaged in daily maintenance activities as to provide a seamless support activity to the production units. * Coaching and mentoring of direct reports to maintain a cohesive team focused on departmental, plant, and corporate goals. * Provides technical expertise in resolving day-to-day complex equipment problems while assisting craftsmen to logically resolve issues. * Establish concepts and perform observations and coaching to ensure that execution of planned work is cost-effective and efficient * Analyze maintenance schedules and execution of the work to minimize errors or delays * Prepares daily/weekly assignments and administers discipline of direct reports as needed. Position Requirements * Technically competent individual with expertise and experience in at least one maintenance craft field * Minimum of six (6) years of craft experience and three (3) years of technical support experience or an equivalent combination * Experience with mechanical and electrical systems is required, with knowledge about the amount of time required for different scopes of repair on industrial equipment. * Experience in a unionized environment desired * Ability to build and sustain good working relationships and work effectively in a team environment * Must be achievement motivated and have a high energy level * Must have effective planning and organizational skills and effective communication skills (verbal, written, and listening) * Excellent computer skills * Health, Safety and Environmentally focused * Desire to learn and continuously improve * Desire / Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift
