Your role and responsibilities As a Master Schedule Planner for Smart Power, Electrification in Mebane, North Carolina, you will be responsible to establish an accurate schedule related to the customer needs and service metrics that allows to the plant to execute 100 percent schedule attainment avoiding impact by missing parts or capacity constraints. In addition to provide effective customer service to delight customers by delivering products on time. This role will need to be able to work daily in our Mebane, NC facility (#LI-Onsite). - Create accurate schedule considering the customer needs, mains service metrics (ROTD & Past Due Orders) and material availability according to supply chain constrains - Provide correct forecast to purchasing team to facilitate a correct material planning strategy - Work with different departments to achieve schedule attainment, increase ROTD (Requested On Time Delivery) reduce the past due orders by effectively communicating with the cross functional teams and creating strong teamwork strategies - Identify alternatives to ship short and ensure to create WF (Workflow) and follow up until complete process - Follow up schedule attainment with operations by daily pulsing progress on execution to assure the production plan is follow as expected or to opportunely create contingency plans to correct deviations of original schedule - Follow up critical customer orders from order placement to customer delivery to avoid further escalations - Analyze and adjust FG (Finished Goods) parameters to assure SAP is reflecting plant current capacities Qualifications for the role * Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (required) with 2 plus years of experience in Materials management, Warehouse management, Inventory management etc. * More than 2 years of experience in people management * Proven management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development * Experience using MRP (Material Requirements Planning)/ ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems Material Requirements Planning * Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Outlook) and purchasing software * Strong planning and organizational skills * Strong leadership skills * Strong problem-solving skills * SAP, ERP experience preferred * Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US Benefits * Retirement plan * Life insurance * Disability insurance * Wellbeing program * Healthcare plan More about us ABB Smart Power is a global technology leader, with products and solutions that make power supplies smart, connected and protected.
