ABOUT THE ROLE You will lead global financial and accounting functions for a large segment of the Advanced Sensors Business. Your responsibilities include ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, driving productivity improvements, upholding strong controllership and compliance practices, and providing critical business leadership through insightful business analytics and strategic direction. LOCATION St Marys, Pennsylvania ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develop/administer effective/efficient operating procedures for payroll, AP, AR, cost accounting, credit, collections, billing and all other financial activities. Maintain reliable internal accounting control system ensuring the integrity of financial data Prepare/submit corporate financial documents/reports required by local, state and federal governments Provide consultation to all operating functions as required for financial analysis of programs/proposals Manage a decentralized global finance team and drive team to meet deadlines Connect/translate business strategy/operational results and recommended changes to drive improved results Acquisition assessment/integration Create/provide business analytics and timely reporting to a cross functional decentralized team, enable efficient understanding of trends/issues/areas of opportunity and drive actions to improve business performance. Establish/administer the annual operating budget in accordance with the strategic business plan Lead key business processes: monthly financial close/forecasting process, capital improvements, budget creation and strategy planning. Participate in the establishment/achievement of operations goals/objectives, assess progress and advise accordingly Identify and drive business performance to industry leading revenue growth, OI and ROS Implement programs to achieve controllable cash flow objectives Understand/follow applicable company practices, policies and procedures Be a key business partner for the GM Domestic/international travel QUALIFICATIONS BS in Accounting or Finance and 5-7 years relevant experience leading in a decentralized global environment. Must be able to work under pressure with high degree of accuracy and with frequent interruptions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong diplomacy and problem solving skills. MBA preferred.
