Position Summary... What you'll do... The Senior Manager, Quality Assurance is a key enabler to enhancing patient outcomes and advancing data-driven roadmap in quality and safety domain. Operations include stewardship of event reporting system, governance and standardization of measures and KPIs across quality and safety domain, and working with patient safety coaches for generating actionable insights. Safety events, near misses, and safety concerns across pharmacy and vision care centers are captured to a robust reporting system that enables safety specialists to analyze events, identify underlying factors, and generate actionable knowledge to mitigate risks. Projects include working with vendors to optimize and enhance event reporting tool, working with patient safety coaches to identify data mart model for self-service analytics, and working with data-tech solutions teams for requirements as needed for development of advanced analytics tools. About the team * The Quality Intelligence and Program Metrics team is within the Quality & Safety domain. * The Quality Intelligence and Program Metrics team leads OKRs for the Quality & Safety domain; provides governance and stewardship for data, measures, and analytics tools; and actioning on a data-driven transformation. * Our team are specialists in data quality assurance and database management; pharmacy and health informatics; quality measurement methodologies; statistics and improvement science; and visualization and data fluency experts bringing actionable insights to our domain. What you'll do * Optimization of data collection forms - maintenance of data dictionaries - including mapping values and data transformation, identifying how discrete data elements exposed to data mart environment, and advising how/where to improve data collection process * Performing data quality assurance - including identifying gaps exposed through classification hierarchies, sectioning of data collection forms, missing values * Weekly scrums and contributing member with patient safety coaches for analyzing events, performing root cause analysis, and determining useful ways to action on event reporting * Measure steward for quality and safety domain - ensuring standardization, justification, and validation of 100-200 measures and KPIs across quality and safety domain originating from multiple database sources * Advisor for development of advanced analytics tools, build of data mart environments and self-service analytics platforms, and to how data is presented through statistical charting, storytelling, and meaningful ways What you'll bring * Passion and pride in making a difference - bringing actionable insights and improvement to patient outcomes * Deep subject matter expertise in data, methodologies, and measurement in the healthcare quality and safety domain * Team skills - as a contributing resource to OKRs and ways of working and as lead, advisor, and expert to advancing data-driven capabilities * Data fluency and data literacy - understanding database engineering and statistics and able to translate to peers in quality and safety and to external stakeholders #LI-MF4 The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
