The College of Business and Analytics of Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking a variable-time Clinical Assistant Professors or Assistant Lecturers to teach online courses in the business and administration undergraduate curriculum beginning August 19, 2024. This is a term, non-tenure-track appointment that is renewable contingent on performance, curricular need, and budget.  Employment is for the Fall 2024 semester and Spring 2025 with possible employment for Summer 2025 and ensuing semesters, contingent on performance, programmatic need, and budget availability.   1) teaching/training professionals or non-traditional students, (2) teaching the course topics of business and administration with emphasis on business communication and or business data analysis.  Minimum Qualifications: For appointment to the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, applicants must hold a doctoral degree in business analytics or a related business area by date of hire. For appointment to the rank of Assistant Lecturer, applicants must hold a master's degree in business analytics or a related business area. Applicants for either appointment must either be active scholar (i.e. recent doctoral degree, publications, and/or other scholarly activity, etc.) or professional (i.e. current professional employment, tested experience, licensure, continuing education, consulting, etc.) in related area(s). All applicants must provide evidence of high-quality instruction. All applications must demonstrate sufficient qualifications meet at least one AACSB category of faculty sufficiency (Scholarly Academic, Practice Academic, Scholarly Practitioner, or Instructional Practitioner). Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to applicants with experience (1) that fits within needed experience in teaching/training professionals or non-traditional students, and/or (2) experience teaching the business and administration course topics taught in the program. Strong preference will be given to applicants who qualify as an AACSB Scholarly Academic. The Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC), College of Business and Analytics MS - Business Analytics program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB, visit website at www.aacsb.edu). SIUC has approximately 9,500 undergraduate and 2,700 graduate students. We offer Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts undergraduate academic degree programs throughout our College including in our School of Management and Marketing, School of Analytics, Finance and Economics, and School of Accountancy.
