Job Description and Duties Are you looking for a challenge in an innovative fast-paced environment? We are seeking a highly motivated individual able to demonstrate effective critical thinking and analytical skills to join our Quality Assurance Team. As the team's Subject Matter Experts, you would learn how to provide the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) support to the Quality Assurance Bureau. In addition, you would learn the general knowledge of SDLC practices including knowledge of system design, development, test, and implementation as well as learning of testing best practices. You would learn how to perform analytical studies and activities related to IT while learning to perform application testing utilizing testing tools. The position provides services which encompass the IT domain of Software Engineering.Our team is driving creative IT solutions to modernize FTB's technical environment. We are looking for an individual with the ability to effectively collaborate with others and work as a team. This position requires you to be resourceful with excellent time management skills, while handling multiple assignments concurrently. This position requires you to take the initiative to learn how to accurately performs test activities, system test script development, and track issues/defects while working closely with other Subject Mater Experts/IT Partners throughout the department to troubleshoot defects and implement quality system changes. About the job Under the close supervision of the Information Technology Supervisor II and the technical direction of the assigned Quality Assurance Case Management Section staff, the Quality Assurance Testing Support Assistant is responsible for the testing phase of the Software Development Life Cycle of enterprise applications and supporting components. In your role: * You will prepare and execute written test plans, test conditions, data and documents based on new software requirements as requested by business partners and the requirements team. * You will work closely with other testing, requirements, and development team members to resolve application defects and issues. * You will learn to take necessary steps to validate and update systems testing procedures as needed.
