Day Pitney LLP is seeking a Legal Recruiting assistant to join the Organizational & Talent Development team. This position will reside in the Parsippany, NJ or Hartford, CT office. Day Pitney is on a hybrid in-office/remote work schedule. Position Overview: In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Legal Recruiting team with the Summer Associate program, on-campus interviews (OCI) and the lateral attorney recruiting processes. You will support the Recruiting team in all aspects of daily tasks and other Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Organizational & Development projects as assigned. Responsibilities: * Monitor and maintain applicant tracking database (ATS) * Enter, process and update all candidates in the ATS * Monitor Legal Recruiting mailbox including responding to various inquiries * Monitor inbox and ATS for new applications daily * Assist with onboarding and orientation for attorney new hires * Send and track search firm placement agreements * Process recruiting expenses and invoices * Assist with OCI recruitment process including, registrations, job postings, sending correspondence and scheduling callback interviews * Assist with summer associate program planning and implementation (meals, travel, social events, work assignments, evaluations, work allocation, etc.) * Send candidate and search firm correspondence via ATS * Assist with maintaining recruiting charts, records, expenses, etc. * Assist with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) tasks and initiatives, including program coordination and logistics, firm sponsorships, client/industry surveys, project support, branding inventory, and responding to various DEI related requests, as needed * Additional Organizational & Talent Development projects as assigned Requirements: * Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, one year of legal or diversity assistant experience preferred * Proficient technical skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (ViRecruit/ATS experience is a plus) * Excellent organization skills and attention to detail * Independent, self-starter, and self-motivated * Superior written/verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment. * Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment * Sound judgment and ability to manage confidential information with discretion About Day Pitney Day Pitney, an East Coast-based law firm with national and international reach, has approximately 330 attorneys in 13 offices in Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Washington, DC.
