Job Description and Duties * This is a reposting for vacancy JC-435671, with a final filing date of 07/07/2024. If you've already applied to this recruitment you do not need to apply again. * Under direction of the Assistant Chief Psychologist of Diversion and Community Based Restoration Program (DCR), the Consulting Psychologist provides clinical and operational oversight of the assigned programs in the DCR continuum of care (e.g. County Felony Incompetent to Stand Trial Mental Health Diversion; Community Based Restoration programs; Community Inpatient Facilities). The candidate will collaborate with county partners in developing and supporting programming to serve Felony Incompetent to Stand Trial individuals in community settings. They will work with the Assistant Chief Psychologist in identifying and addressing programmatic issues and operational needs in order to effectively implement and support existing community programs and support the activation of new community programs, with the goal of expanding the continuum of care for Felony defendants with Incompetent to Stand Trial commitments. Working Conditions * A majority of the essential functions of this position may be performed via telework and/or flexible scheduling in accordance with DSH PD 5338.
