Job Title: Sr. Architectural Designer Job Description In this role, you will develop, modify, and review drawings in accordance with established standards. You will be responsible for performing basic architectural assignments, compiling data, carrying out basic design computations, and preparing architectural plans, design details, and renderings. You will also be expected to utilize company project templates for project execution, adhere to our QA/QC process, and maintain accurate timekeeping and reporting. As our representative, you will uphold the company's positive and professional image in all communications. You will also participate in project and company meetings, identify training opportunities for improvement, and provide feedback on company policies and procedures for continual efficiency improvement. Hard Skills * Minimum of 5 years of experience designing architectural projects within local government and K-12 Schools * Proficiency with Photoshop, Sketchup, or related graphic programs / BIM and Microsoft Office 365 * Strong architectural design experience with AutoCAD or Revit (Revit is a Plus) Soft Skills * Ability to collaborate with a team and develop designs on a day-to-day basis * Positive and professional communication skills * Ability to identify training opportunities for improvement and participate in them Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Myrtle Beach, SC Work Environment We are a full-service architecture and engineering firm with offices across the country. Our team is dedicated to 'serving beyond design', with a strong focus on service to our clients, our people, and our community. This role is based in our Myrtle Beach, SC office, working 8 AM-5 PM, Monday - Friday. You will be working on multiple projects alongside another architect in a small, close-knit team of seven.
