About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Growth Strategy Consultant in Consumer Small & Business Banking responsible for providing consulting, coaching, and influencing across multiple business channels. In this role, you will: * Lead or participate in planning and execution of Business Growth Strategy activities and projects that directly support or assist in implementation and optimization of efforts for growth opportunities in an assigned market * Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and policies within Business Growth Strategy functional area * Perform research within Business Growth Strategy functional area, identifying and selecting best channels and product combinations to improve effectiveness and efficiency of coverage in marketplace and to meet the unique needs of customers * Develop strategies to enhance sales in a designated market and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in Business Growth Strategy operations, policies, procedures and compliance requirements * Lead a team to meet business objectives within Business Growth Strategy functional area * Collaborate and consult with Business Growth Strategy managers, colleagues, stakeholders, bankers, brokers, and both business and community leaders, including internal or external customers to grow market share and meet customer needs * Lead Business Growth Strategy projects and teams * Serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals Required Qualifications: * 4+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: * 3+ years of experience working in the Financial Services Industry directly with bankers or financial advisors * Knowledge and understanding of the retail banking environment and affluent client markets * Strong presentation skills * Excellent program management and organization skills including the ability to manage across multiple projects and partners. * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members * Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment * Consulting certifications or formal coaching education * Experience operating effectively in a geographically dispersed organization * Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of customers, team members and management * Previous strategy experience within the Affluent or Brokerage areas Job Expectations: * This position offers a hybrid work schedule * Ability to travel up to 10% of the time * Registration for Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date * This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 7 examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required.
