As a Lead Member of Technical Staff, you'll provide solutions to complex business and technical problems or issues of complex scope using advanced engineering and technical principles. These principles will be applied during the design, build, and operational phase of new and existing technologies. Key Roles and Responsibilities: * Applies engineering principles and practice in broad areas of complex technical project work that requires in-depth analysis using advanced techniques, knowledge, and expertise * Provides technical expertise within project teams * Develop networking designs to support initiatives * Drive best-practices into all phases of technology lifecycle * Communicate and provide documentation for issues identified to both vendor and internal teams * Represent the group internally across the company to provide functional and technical leadership and externally to submit vendor feature requests Required Experience: * Experience with deploying Cloud native applications on Public and/or Private Cloud using DevOps tools and principles. Experience with Azure and Azure tools is a benefit. * Experience with Cloud Native application design principles such as microservices, containerization best practice and managing state. * Experience with network attached storage solutions such as Ceph, and an understanding of storage use cases in cloud native design. * 3-5 years' experience with scripting languages like python, JavaScript and shell scripting. * Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office products is expected, while mastery of advanced techniques and Office features is highly beneficial. Required Education: * Bachelor's degree or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Informational Technology, Data Communications from an accredited university. * PhD in an approved field with no minimum years of relevant experience or Masters in an approved field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors in an approved field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Our Lead Member of Technical Staff earns between $153,300 - $229,900 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
