Responsibilities * Lead large cross-cutting programs within the Machine Learning Efficiency team that deliver towards measurable impact and more efficient use of resources in the Google fleet. * Drive improvements with materialization of efficiency savings into measurable value for Google through the development of new mechanisms and policies in partnership with Capital Engineering (CapEng), Engineering, and Finance. * Lead the portfolio review process and ensure alignment with the efficiency roadmaps for the fleet. Work with executive team leads across Machine Learning, Systems, and Cloud AI (MSCA) and the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), CapEng, and Finance to review and make funding recommendations to deliver towards technical infrastructure efficiency goals. * Define team engagements, processes, and policies that enable the scaling impact of the efficiency savings by enabling the team to maximize the value of the efficiency portfolio.
