Jackson Ear Clinic is an otology/neurotology practice of two physicians, one nurse practitioner, and four audiologists that cover the full spectrum of ear pathology including hearing and vestibular impairments. The Hearing Center of Jackson is a branch of Jackson Ear Clinic dedicated to hearing healthcare. About: Established in 1993, Jackson Ear Clinic was founded to bring the very best staff, training, equipment, and technology available to help the people of Mississippi with problems related to hearing, balance, and the facial nerve. We are a practice of two physicians, one nurse practitioner, and five audiologists that cover the full spectrum of ear pathology including hearing and vestibular impairments. Position Overview: The Clinical Audiologist at Jackson Ear Clinic will utilize the full scope of audiology to provide comprehensive audiological services. This includes comprehensive audiometry, electrophysiology, vestibular services, cochlear implant services, and hearing device services and dispensing. The primary patient population will be adults. Audiology candidates with interests and experience in any area of audiology are encouraged to apply. The position might be modified depending on the candidate's experiences or interests. Key Responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive audiological services, including: * Comprehensive Audiometry, including tympanometry, acoustic reflex threshold measures * Electrophysiology: Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) and Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) to assess auditory pathway functionality.Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential (VEMP), Electrocochleography (ECOG) and Auditory Steady State Response (ASSR) * Vestibular services: Videonystagmography (VNG) and Electronystagmography (ENG). * Cochlear implant services: Evaluate patients for cochlear implant candidacy, program, and fit cochlear implants, and provide ongoing management and support. * Fitting, programming, and dispensing hearing aids for all ages * Aural rehabilitation therapy Requirements * Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent. * Valid Mississippi audiology license or ability to obtain a license.
