POSITION SUMMARY Would you like to get involved with the gaming industry? The Product Development Coordinator (eSports) helps build, reinforce and coordinate content on a wide variety of projects based on eSports and video game IPs - with a strong emphasis on our Blizzard license. Working closely with cross-departmental team members, the Coordinator is responsible for the creation and management of trading card set checklists, acquisition of materials used for content, allocation of autograph contracts, editorial review of trading card grids, layouts, etc. and review of production work orders for accuracy and quality. The Coordinator has a significant impact on the end product and should have a strong understanding of trading cards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Creates and maintains product checklists for physical trading cards and digital products. * Influences and maintains a product-by-product inventory of autographs, materials and original artwork. * Manages and maintains multiple projects at various points in the project life cycle. * Allocates memorabilia, autograph and original artwork content, while meeting budget and volume parameters. * Creates and manages documents detailing product requirements, inventory and additional content specs. * Acts as an interdepartmental point of contact for the Product Development Team, working with other team members to ensure that product content is relevant and accurate throughout the production cycle. * Performs editorial reviews of trading card printing proof sheets; compiling and coordinating modifications. * Works with Project Managers to ensure the quality and timeliness of content deliverables from the creative stage all the way through to final production. * Surveys, tracks and understands the current secondary market values of physical and digital cards, and autographs from featured talent. EDUCATION/YEARS EXPERIENCE * High School Diploma or equivalent. * College Degree preferred POSITION REQUIREMENTS * Hands-on, energetic and motivated self-starter who loves eSports and video games * Strong organizational skills with the ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail. * Good interpersonal, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills coupled with a strong work ethic. * Strong oral and written communication skills with a professional demeanor. Ability to interface with internal and external parties at all levels. Team player orientation. * Ability to perform duties under minimal supervision while exercising discretion and independent judgment. * Ability to create and maintain complex Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. * Proficiency in the following Microsoft software: Office, ACCESS, Excel (advanced) knowledge preferred. * Knowledge of basic budgeting. * Familiarity with editorial review/proofreading. * General knowledge of trading cards and collectibles. * Broad knowledge of the video game industry and it's trends. * Advanced knowledge of esports teams, players and Blizzard's portfolio of games. * Ability to work additional hours as required, in order to meet deadlines, etc. Other details * Pay Type Hourly * Min Hiring Rate $23.00 * Max Hiring Rate $25.00 Apply Now * Carlsbad, 5830 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, California, United States of America
