Purpose: Our purpose is to provide an aspiring paralegal with practical experience and exposure to the legal profession by working closely with experienced attorneys or senior paralegals to gain knowledge around legal procedures, research methods, document preparation, and case management. Location: This position will work onsite out of our home office in Sandy Springs, GA, with work from home flexibility on Fridays. What that looks like day to day * Assist with the audit of corporate entities and formation documents and file organization * Assist with the audit and reorganization of all vendor agreements (pre-2023 are in disarray) * Assist with infringement audit for Facebook/Instagram /TikTok. * Organization of IP, legal and compliance file rooms * Sort through the company shared drive and organize and master list of all IP enforcement matters so that we will have a master reference sheet for entities which we have previously contacted related to infringement matters. There are over 300 matters. * Organize and form individual files for every mark in the portfolio (locating proper specimens/corresponding office actions/official USPTO registration) * Legal research, drafting and review Requirements and essential competencies: * Completion of at least one year of law school at an ABA accredited institution * Excellent written, oral communication and organizational skills * Interest in corporate, commercial and IP Law * Demonstrated record of academic excellence * Team player and eager to learn Why Intern with Edible: * Onsite work environment with Friday work-from-home flexibility, fostering collaboration and relationship building * You'll make visible contributions to the business with abundant opportunities for personal and professional growth * Full immersion in on-the-job training, development sessions, and real-life work experiences * Ability to learn alongside and network with other young professionals in the internship program * Opportunities to learn from some of the most successful executives and teams in the industry We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer.
