Interstate Assembly Systems is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Supply Chain Director based out of our Surprise, Arizona branch, servicing four additional assembly locations throughout the U.S. The Manufacturing Supply Chain Director will oversee the end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics for all five locations in the U.S. This role requires a strategic leader who can optimize supply chain operations, reduce costs, improve efficiency, and ensure timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing supply chains, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement. Pay Range: $150,000 to $155,000 Depending on Experience. Key Responsibilities: * Strategic Planning: * Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the companys business objectives. * Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain. * Forecast and manage supply chain budgets. * Procurement and Supplier Management: * Oversee the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiated contracts. * Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards. * Production Planning and Inventory Management: * Coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization. * Manage inventory levels to minimize costs and ensure product availability. * Implement inventory control systems and processes. * Logistics and Distribution: * Oversee logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution. * Ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of products to customers. * Implement and manage manufacturing and aftermarket inventory. * Continuous Improvement: * Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions. * Lead initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. * Implement best practices and innovative solutions in supply chain management. * Team Leadership: * Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team across all five locations. * Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. * Ensure team members have the necessary skills and resources to succeed. * Performance Monitoring: * Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance. * Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics and report on performance. * Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps. Qualifications: * Bachelors degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. * 10+ years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. * Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. * Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools such as material requirement planning (MRP), inventory management and capacity planning tools. * Proven experience in developing and implementing supply chain strategies. * Understanding of lean manufacturing tools, principals, and continuous improvement. * Excellent leadership and team management.
