Architectural Intern Job Description
Overview
An Architectural Intern works under supervision in order to gain experience and knowledge about architecture in a professional environment. Their role is to conduct periodic observations of on site work during construction to monitor compliance with detailed design documents, utilize computer assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans, and design work to be reviewed and stamped. Their responsibilities are to create three-dimensional building information modeling and two-dimensional construction documents, assist in the preparation of presentation drawings, design analysis, and assist in the preparation of construction contract documents.
