Radiology Technologist Job Description
Overview
A Radiology Technologist collaborates with radiologists and other medical staff to use radiologic imaging to diagnose and treat patients. Their role is to explain procedures to patients, ensure patient comfort, and safety prepare and immobilize patients before conducting scans. Their responsibilities are to perform radiologic tests to obtain clear and correct body scans, monitor patients throughout procedures, assist with lab tests and patient care exams, follow all radiological safety procedures and guidelines, notify radiologist of test results, handle patient check-in, evaluate or requisition of medical records, participate in hiring and training personnel, operate and maintain highly s...
