Technical Staff Job Description
Overview
A Technical Staff is a position that helps select and maintain the software or hardware that should be used by a business. Their role is to oversee the computer systems for an organization, administer any databases, and assess and develop new technologies by translating strategic business goals into the final design. Their responsibilities are to lead small groups or teams for effective project management and delivery, maintain complex technologies by understanding system requirements, perform technical trials, and develop models to characterize observed behavior.
