Job Summary and Qualifications The Medical Laboratory Technician/ is responsible for prompt and accurate performance of routine, complex and specialized clinical laboratory procedures as assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor. The Medical Laboratory Technician Student demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age appropriate care to patients including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. What qualifications you will need: Associate Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Laboratory Technology/Clinical Laboratory Technology (MLT/CLT) from an accredited institution. Or be qualified under CLIA guidelines for MLT/CLT. MLT or equivalent certification, or be currently eligible to sit for MLT or equivalent certification exam preferred. One year clinical laboratory experience or equivalent clinical lab training.
