SUMMARY: NACC's mission is to promote the health & wellness of mind, body, and spirit of Native American families. We offer a full range of healthcare services that include Medical, Behavioral Health, Dental, and Substance Abuse. This position works to facilitate patient flow and ensure accurate and complete medical record for each patient. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Accompany physician into patient examination room in order to transcribe a history and physical exam, and document accurately the physician's encounter with patient and others present. * * List all proper diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow up instructions as dictated by the physician. * Transcribes patient orders including laboratory test, radiology tests, medications, etc. * Performs other related duties as assigned by management SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: * Education and/or experience: Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Certificates, licenses and registrations required: Proof of current COVID-19 vaccination. * Computer skills required: Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); and EMR. * Other skills required: Acute attention to detail; bi-lingual skills are a plus but not required.
